If you want the best, let Golden Eagle sleeve them (open-deck style sleeves)...they are by far the highest quality sleeves/installation you can get, plus they are safe for like 40psi or something like that!

I would keep an open-deck on your block unlike the darton closed-deck or like using a block guard....just takes away too much of the cooling.

I believe they only do B-series motors now...in your case I would just get the normal iron sleeves put in and possibly get your block pinned by a machine shop. Anyone know what papadakis is using on his setup and what kind of boost he is running? I know he is using a T88 turbo on an H22, JE pistons, denso iridium plugs, everything AEM makes, etc. and running 700+hp, but that's all I know...

So basically it's around $600 total....that's not bad.

Anyone know where to get D16 sleeves? I have only found one company that makes them, ARI. Anyone ever heard of them? I can get their sleeves for $46/each ($184/set). I was thinking that Darton may make some too.

shops in Augusta

hey if you are looking for shops to do some work for you i would try...

RPM on 3475 Old Petersburg Road
or Turner's Automotive at 4558 Writghtboro

turner is a redneck big block place, but they are very knowledgable and cheap. when i put in my turbo they did my exhaust system from the downpipe back to the muffler for only 60 bucks.

rpm helped me out with some oil leaks and tapping my oil sending unit to BPT because that is the fitting the Drag 3 kit comes with.

have fun,
ctown
