d16 turbo oil pressure help please

so i have a built block that is going to be turboed(d16z6) i have had some dispute about stock oil pump pressures. does anyone know if the stock pump pressure will be good for high boost/hp (round 300whp/20 pounds) or if the relief spring needs to be shimmed to jack up the pressure, if so how big a shim/ how much pressure? thanks

what oil pressure is it running stock. . ?

I think b series pump works on the d16 and has a lil more pressure. .

Honestly, I think its ok to use the stock oil pump, but if you really want to make your engine to have a good oil system, add an oil cooler. That will help keep your oil temp down and make it more reliable for long drives and prolongs the life of your oil.

yep i have one of those in the works as for the pressure it runs round 80ish cold and 35-40ish warm (psi) im thinking it will be fine, i really dont see the benefit of having a higher oil pressure......
