D16A6 +200hp... How?!?
Help me to get 200hp out of my civic -89 sofc d16a6 engine!! What does it take to make it work? It would be good if it would be adjustable to around 140-150hp to be leagal around here (by adjusting the boost pressure from inside the car?) I am desperate and nobody does "extreme" moddings for Honda around here (Finland). There is one club and it doesn`t share the info for outsiders and after all they don't have any turbos. I woul'd be the first in finland to have a street leagal turbo Honda Civic. PLEASE MAKE MY DREAM COME TRUE!!!
strong engine, turbo set-up, will make your want into reality. you can adjust the psi level from inside your car with an electronic boost controller (EBC). however, these are not as reliable and effective as MBCs (manual). also, when you start making that much power, you'll want to tune with a standalone EMS such as Hondata.

I know it takes a strong engine to make 200hp, but what does it really mean? Is there some swap parts from another engine that could be found used. Has anyone turboed a d16a6 to about 200hp with a restricted amount of money (less than 2000$) and it goes for daily use. Are my hopes utopistic? Please, some info if you have tried it or heard of it!

200 hp to the ground? well you could go FI. if you were to go N/A i would get I/H/E, pulleys, cams, ignition, some type of air/fuel controller, cam gears..and build up your botom end.

What does I/H/E, cam gears and pulleys mean. My English isn't the best and if it's a shortened version it gets only worse (check where I live..). Building up ur bottom end means stronger sh*t down under of the header? How much can the cylinders take? On my engine is about 160000Km (on the car is about 300000, and it is common here).
And it has felt the smell of gas once or twice... meaning a race with 2 people on a 600 suzuki bike for 120kms stepping on the pedal all the way and that is just an example( I did keep up though... I guess the biker didn't have the b'lls to turn the gas handle enough!) To the point, someone help me to do the 200whp out of my d16a6 engine with a "not so expensive" turbo setup! &Thank U anE1 4 help!!!
