Daily Driver Turbo Questions

Hey guys,
I have a question about tunning for a daily driver. Later this winter I am going to start building a high boost ls. I have around 7-8k for the engine and tunning and plan on doing it right. I am an automotive major so I know about cars. I have done alot of reading about turbos so I can learn more but cant find the answer to my one question. I am looking to build the engine to handle anything and I want 400whp for track and whoop ass time but I also want to beable to tune it down to around 250-300whp for daily driving. Now I know I can get a boost controller but I have a feeling it is a lot harder then that. I am looking to have it tuned by Evans Tunning in Pa. And I wanted to know am I going to have to have two different tunes for this or will a boost controller do it? Thanks for the help.

if you'll be going to evans tuning, pick up a neptune ems from them as well. with this system, you will be able to switch between 2 different maps. one race map and one street map.

Yeah, or the Hondata S300 has two levels of gear dependent boost. So you can have one each for street/strip, for a total of 10 different boost levels and matching maps! It's awesome!

[edit] All you have to buy is a GM solenoid for $50 to hook up to the wastegate, and the Hondata has boost control feature built in. Saves $$$.
