Question Deltagate Wastegate vaccuum/boost lines....

ok, I'm gettin ready to install my turbo and there are two places on the wastegate to connect a hose, One is the vaccuum one on top next to the adjustments screw, and one is a boost hole on the bottom outer lip. Which one should I connect the hose to? I'm not using a boost controller of any sort yet..

a little OT, but why did you go with Deltagate over Tial? boost creep and spikes = bad.

Umm, yeah, it deals with turbocharging, and its under the turbocharger section, gee, how is this off topic?

another question to add. If your not using a boost controller do you need to put vacum to the top of the wastegate?

OK my wastegate has a line coming from the side Tee'd from the fuel pressure vacuum. There is a port on the side of the compressor housing, that I first used for a day untill somebody told me not to. Are you saying not to put a line from the compressor housing?

No I did not. I automatically assumed that it was set at 7psi straight from the factory. So did you have to adjust your's when you first got it? or was it set at 7psi already? I also thought it could be that the blow off valve was to loose as well.

ok checked all Vacuum lines and all clamps turned the wastegate down all the way and still seeing 4psi. Don't know now. maybe just a faulty wastegate
