Dezod vs. Turbo-kits.com
Has anyone used either of these bolton turbo kits? and if so could you please tell me which one, what you like and your dis-like's about each kit any info would be a great help, as I am trying to make a "informed decision" before shelling out 3 to 4 grand, thanks! A Phi
I bought two kits from turbokits.com and haven't had any issues. i had my last kit within 3 weeks of ordering it. I would have had it sooner but there was some difficulty getting my turbo from Precision.

The engin is a D17a2,in a 2001 civic ex (1.7l) and I plan on doing a complete bottom end build up, my goal is 350whp, dezod got 176whp on stock internals on a automatic pushing 6-8psi I know that with a built engin and a higher boost setting I can get more, but I really need to make the most informed decision I can, $575.00 for a engin(longblock)running.$700.00 wisco internals
$1600.00 AEM-EMS, $600-800.00 for tuning,3500.00 for turbo kit for a total of $7175.00 with out misc. costs, so a bad decission could be very costly, and whoever said that it cost money to go fast was telling the damn truth

Hondata would be much cheaper. tuning should cost the same unless the vendor will cut you a deal because you bought the unit from him. you should be able to get the kit for 2500 and 3000 with the upgraded turbo. what kit are you looking at? this is the best time of the year to buy a turbo kit and you should get some nice discounts.

as of now I just ordered a new(to me) engin, cause I am gonna build on a engin stand so my car aint down to long, I am gonna go w/crower cam, wisco pistons @ 9:1 compression,as well as rings ect.ect.ect. and then the complete intercooled turbo system from www.dezodmotorsports.com and I will get a discount on the AEM-EMS if I get it from dezod when I get the kit,so about 4g's for the kit,$575.00 for a engin, $700.00 for internals,$300.00 for a P&P on the heads, I wont be able to send my kids to collage :noo but I will go fast :w00t

only if you have someone to tune it properly, and you have some way for the new power to reach the ground
