drag or fmax
i know different cars run better with different kits, i've got a 99 accord 4cyl and these were the only two kits i could find for it. which is better?? or should i see what i can do about a custom turbo? any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks in advance
I have the same question...From what i have read I think the fmax is better...more hp and more complete...but i don't like the idea of putting two extra fuel injectors into my throttle body.

I don't think that the injectors go into your throttle body. I think they are on the intake piping just before the throttle body. I'm not for sure though.
Did you guys know that some domestic cars have throttle body injectors right from the factory. The extra (FMAX) injectors are mounted before the throttle body. Some people don't like them 'cause you have to tune them when you up the boost, or the additional controller unit which leads to more wiring, ect... But with the extra injectors, the air charged by the turbo is cooler then W/O them. That doesn't mean that I won't upgrade the four main injectors or the fuel system later on. Every kit has like and dislike about them. You can always go custom and get what you want.

are there any disadvantages to running the extra injectors from the side? i heard they may not spread fuel evenly under high boost and the lack of fuel could cause problems. what do you think?

Thats why you should upgrade the four main injectors and get the car tuned. The two extra injectors that come will the FMAX starts to kick in when the car sees boost over 1-2psi. Would there be a lack of fuel with higher boost? Only if you forget to tune the ERL fuel controller.

Upgrading stock injectors, pump and regulator and ECU is fine, but how much will that run you? Plus, you will loose the cooling effect by the two extra injectors. See my point?

Are you happy with your turbo? Have you had any problems setting it up? You are running it on a stock engine right?
With the exception of the gasket, it's stock. No problems. Boosting 10psi daily, even on the highway. Well, I don't really push the car hard enough on the high way to boost 10psi.
I would recommend F-MAX to anyone, but at the same time, I've seen good results with the RevHard kit has well, MatT3T4, right?
This refers back to the original question...
FMAX claims larger power gains over the DRAG kit, is this true? Also, what are the main differences in the two? It's not much right?

I had the F-Max kit and sold it before I put it on. I bought the Greddy kit instead. I hated the 2 additional injectors before the TB on the F-Max kit. POS if you ask me
