Importparts.com claims a 100hp gain at 6-7lbs of boost. Although I am not for sure how accurate that is. Nevertheless, if I can not get the gains I want out of the turbo, which is a Turbonetics T3/T4B I think, then I will get a bigger turbo! In about 2 weeks or so I will post a thread listing my dyno results. We initially had it on a dyno 3 weeks ago trying to tune the AEM, although that was unsuccessful! We'll all in all I am happy with the horsepower I had when I just bolted it on. I like the kit but it is not all perfect. Such as the turbo manifold, you should get that port matched. When you put your exhaust gasket up to the turbo manifold, the holes do not match exactly with that of the gasket! Among others things, I have pretty much replaced everything except for the piping, and turbo. Which is not a bad thing, but I was just going a different route. I really think compared to other kits that it is worth the money! Other kits you can compare are FMAX, which people say that it fits easier and come with better materials such as 2 extra injectors although I ended up getting 550cc anyways. I was told that the FMAX turbo was smaller and had less gains, I was told! People say the best kit is the Rev Hard. Now that is considerably more although people say it will produce more power and comes with better parts. I have never seen one for myself, but you will find people on this board who will swear by it! Or you can custom cut and weld your own piping, by a manifold off another kit and whatever size turbo you want and do it yourself! We did my brothers 97' Prelude by using U bends, and 45 degree bends from Burns. We also used a Drag tubular turbo manifold which sets the turbo above the manifold and a Garret T3/T4 - 60 Trim. I think it's more beneficial to do it custom yourself because it's more cost efficient. You get the parts you want rather than getting a kit and replacing things later. Also it's cheaper if you do everthing yourself! We'll good luck with your decision!
