Eagle rod question

i need to know whether you had to machine the sleeves so the rods will fit on a B16a2 enging?

Also with forged low Compression pistons and eagle rods, (I havnt resleeved the block coz that is major $$$ over here) how much boost can i run??? Please can someone answer this one!! I am hoping to get about 280hp to the wheels!

Thanks

Steve

I believe you don't have to machine the sleeves for the rods to fit a b16. For a d16, I believe you do. Someone else can verify this for you.

with low compression pistons and rods you can boost easily 15psi just make sure you have the proper fuel requirements. I know a guy that is running 19psi with pistonds,rods,v-afc and the proper fuel.

if the rods have different lengths then you probably would be stoking it. witch would change your rod ratio not good on the b16 motor, its perfect from the factory.

as far as boost you can run pretty much what ever you want as long as you have it tuned good, Ive been running 22lbs of boost on my D16 for over a year, havent blown a cylinder yet, the b16 are "suppose"to be stronger, Im pretty sure they are.
