ya there turbos that were puleld from volvos and saabs and soem fords and crap. THat what i did. I pulled liek 6 out and sold them to people from ebay and made tons of money. They are actually pretty good im running one on my GSR. Most of them are just fine and may only require the oil return gasket and compressor housing gasket to be replaced. However some need entire rebuilds (cheap @ turbo city). I have one that is in flawless condition if you would like it $250 shipped. Its my last one.

I got a KKK K03 off an Audi A4 for $202US. It is brand new oem. It was ordered for a shop that never used it. I kept watching the "audi turbo" searches in ebay. There are lots of these around. They don't like high rpms but spin up around 1900RPM.

I wouldn't buy a used one off ebay but there are lots of rebuilds that should be fine.

Let's put it this way........

I put a kit together last summer, most everything was bought off ebay.

I am currently redoing the whole setup with all new parts, mostly from EBay (from the header to the throttlebody).

That's 2 complete kits I've pieced together and I still haven't spent near what a RevHard, Drag or Graddy kit costs.
