I have a 1997 Prelude Base with the FMAX turbo kit on it and it seems to me that the EGT temperatures are too hot for what I am driving it at. In town going 25 mph it is about 900 and at about 70 mph on the highway in 5th rear it is at about 1200 to 1250. I would like to know if this is too high for what I have or not. The car is running the stock compression and 93 octane for fuel all the time. I also ran my car on a scan tool at Auto Zone and it said "system slow......... oxygen sensor" something to that nature. I am going to replace the oxygen sensor before the catalytic convertor to see if that would help. I need all of your input that I can get.
thanks
