Question Elec. vs Mech.

Ok, while i was looking at these greddy boost guages...i noticed that you can get it in either mechanical, or Electric. The pictures of the guages looked the same,,,but i guess you cant rely on the picts that some websites give. Whats the difference between the two? This is just a crazy guess,,,but does it have something to do with the way you hook them up? if so,,,which is the best route to go. I think the Electric one was about 30 bucks more!
thanks!
peace

Yeah. You were right about guessing about how
they are hooked up. The Mech. run whatever you are measurein )oil water ect. directly to the gauge. You dont really want to run how water oil ect, into the cabin of your car do you? The electrical gauges are worth it I think. Just my .2 cents \
