With stock internals? You should ask how long will my engine last. But probably about 80 - 90 hp.

FMAX kit was built to use with stock internals, it's got a thicker head gasket to reduce compression, to make it safer. I think it should be OK.

Thanx!

I have a d16y8 engine. I opted for F-MAX as opposed to the Rev Hard kit mostly due to price. Also I like the idea of the extra injectors better than an upgraded fuel pump with stock injectors. 3D mapping vs 2D mapping.

Exactly, that's what I was saying, get the F-MAX kit. For all of those reasons and more! Talk to me.

RedFox talk to me or Mat3t4 and we will explain to you why you should go rev hard over fmax.... Take my word on this one you will regret going fmax... you can ask "GSRturbospec" and he will also tell you why he regrest buying Fmax over rev hard or drag... he has had a Fmax kit and encountered problems...

What kind of problems did he encounter??

I do have to mention one thing, I will not crave more boost. So I will be happy with the 10psi. I understand your reasoning for saying the RevHard is better because the FMU and regulator...

I also got a REAL GOOD deal on the F-MAX kit and would be paying about $500 more for the revHard. With that money, I could easily by regulators and pump.

its more then just a regulator and pump.. its the quality of the kit and the reliability... .. that 500 will be worth it... and you say you wont crave boost now but yes you will and i know this b/c right now you have intake headers and other crap on your car and obviously you are not fast enough thats why your going turbo.. when you go turbo you will see how fast your car has become but then you will want to go even faster... its really up to you but there are problems with fmax and im not sure what exact problems "GSRturbospec" had, you might want to email him or send him a personal message.. good luck..

Alright, I'm going to try to find some decent price for the Rev-Hard kit first, any suggestions?
