Is Factory revlimiter ok on boost???

Hey all, just wondering if the factory computer (mine is a PR3) pulls ignition or fuel on rev limiter. I don't seem to be having any problems bouncing off of the factory rev limiter and not tearing anything up yet. The only other option I have is the chip the msd ignition that I have for a limiter but if it is safe on the factory one I don't see any need to do so. Just wanting your opinions and facts, thanx.

learn to shift before the limiter, you just loose speed by hitting the limiter
and plus, your engine has a redline for a reason

well when you have a fully built ls/vtec 8200 doesn't seem to bother me or the motor and when you have 400+ in a crx, realatively anytime I get into it, it destroys the tires and bounces off of the limiter, kind of uncontrolable. its either bounce it off of the limiter or stay out of it, and I like to get into it.

what was the point of this post, what is the question?
it sounds like the origional post is asking if it is safe, and yet you shoot back saying that its perfectly safe because you have a fully built engine.

you just said it was unavoidable, so what is the point of the post.

i suggest you get a low/high boost toggle switch that you can leave on low boost until 3rd gear or whatever, and just hit the switch.

ultimately the question was if the factory revlimiter pulls ignition or fuel, but I am assuming it would have to be ignition because it is not hurting anything. As far as the driving thing goes, if you boost it spins through the first 4 gears, so, ultimately the only way to avoid it is stay out of it, not my driving skills.

The factory limiter is a fuel cut.
