Forced Induction

O.K. I know it's possible to run both supercharger and turbo, and I know it's going to be high pressure range when doing this, so how can this be safe to the engine? What CAN you do to the internals and stuff to be able to withstand this much? Forged pistons strong enough? And if you have this or specs of high boost engines, please list the whole setup.....

I DO NOT recommend this, unless you have sacks of cash wasting space, and don't mind going through a few engines, really, it's not a good idea and you'd be much better off/happier with a turbo set-up, imo. if you have any more questions, post up

If you are plannig to go FI...in any form, be it; NOS, Turbo, or Supercharge. You want your engine to last and get the best out it right? So build your block with low c/r pistons, some suitable rods for this application, studs, and maybe some sleeves.

And for the head get some cams with low duration, that equalls short overlap.

With these few things in mind along with routine maintenance, your engine should be more reliable and can be ran harder. Keep in mind FI gives more stress to your engine which is prone to less engine life.

supercharger for low-end power, and turbo for top end. both combined for midrange:

Talking Exactly.

Yeah, what GS Teg said. Thanks for the info, guys. I saw it in a mag a month or two ago, just wondering how it was possible...and No, I am nowhere near having gobs of money laying around, far from it as a matter of fact, but thanks for the replies...
