Well I was going to keep this a secret but what the hell..... I am going to turbo my ej8. I have some parts, but of course I need more. I am looking for a DD fun weekend toy which will include going to the drag strip. My HP goal for now is around 220WHP, but as I upgrade internals I want to shoot for ~330 WHP. This thread will have the entire build process with lots of pictures. I will take pictures of the parts I have when they arrive. The build process will be indexed.
Parts I have I will Bold, parts I need I will include aswell. Manifold, adapter plate, charge pipes will be powder/ceramic coated black

I will deffinately post up pics of my car and all the parts I currently have. I hope wes' turbo spools up around 3.5-4k which I'm thinking it will because its twin scroll. Shitty thing is we only have 91 octane here not 93 :-( damn Utah. Another problem I forsee is tuning. Me and wes can do an ok street tune but I don't really know what my options are as far as local (probably vegas) tuners and who can tune what. This is why I'm choosing to go hondata instead of Neptune, it seems more can tune hondata.
Enough blabbing, I will post pix tomorrow.

Purchased this adapter plate from mc-motorsports.com
I will buy all the gaskets I need next week. Then the porting for my manifold will begin!

Compression test results in!

As you can see heres the results:
cylinder 1: 177
cylinder 2: 178
cylinder 3: 170
cylinder 4: 180
For having 160k on my motor I would say that it is in damn good shape, no need for a leak down test. Boost will continue!!

Bought oil feed kit, will install on car when I get it! I also ordered a -3an plug to plug the oil line. Will most likely buy clutch tomorrow!
The adapter plate will be here by the first of next week!

I bought all the gaskets I need except the BOV and oil pan. Porting will begin hopefully next week!
