going low boost turbo on stock LS

After blowing alot of money and time on my blown NA beast, I'm starting from scratch with a simple turbo setup on a stock LS motor/tranny. Bottom line: cheap and reliable.

So here are my questions:
  1. I want a turbo that spools up as quickly as possible and maintains about 7 PSI up to 7,500 rpm. Any reccomendations for turbos/kits?
  2. I want the fuel/timing to be right. Do I need anything more than a new map sensor and a chipped ECU?

Thanks guys,
Blase

depends how much you wanna spend. Easiest way would be get like a Revhard kit or something and swap out for some decent fuel management.
a .57 trim should be more than fine turbo wise though.

What electronics are you running for fuel/spark/boost management? Could you give me your setup list?

(BTW, where in Orl? I'm Dean and University.)
