type-r Greddy kit, any others with higher gains?

i was going to get a kit but it only gives you 43hp why is it so small compared to other kits and if there are thing to get more hp out of the kit it will be on a stock b16a it does not have to be carb leagel

thanks

its probably cheaper than the other kits too. greddy kits IMO are made for a BONE stock engine. they are good if you just want the turbo sound, BOV sound, or just the reputation of being turbo'd. if you want more...go custom. revhard or turbonetics also makes good kit that provide good immediate power and more power if you start to build you engine

greddy kits are not meant for those who just want turbo or a bov. they put out less hp because of the smaller turbo's. they have smaller turbo's because that is what u want on the street. they provide a very fast spool, unlike the t3/t4's that get full boost around 4500 rpms, with greddy's u can have full boost by 3k.

its a small turbo on there, however, you can up the power output...heres how:

I know the prelude greddy kits dont come with the E-Manage, but all the other ones do
get that retuned...its setup way too rich from Greddy
use the highest octane gas you can get....then refer to above
add a 2.5" or 3" downpipe and 3" piping
if you want to keep your A/C, a 3" dp might be a problem, however you can have a 2.5" flare out to a 3" dp as soon as clearance permits
then run either a 3" high flow cat or test pipe and 3" piping all the way back
greddy kits dont come with intercoolers...buy one!!!!
boost controller

and once you have all these things, tune the e-manage or hondata or whatever
youll see some nice gains

also, i learned a way to save money. i profec b spec 2 works as a boost gauge as well.

My greddy kit in my lude is making good power but i have a custom 3 inch down pipe and 3 inch exhaust. I also have a 70 mm throttle body with a ported type s manifold. Before having the ported manifold i put 241 with 210ilbs/tq but when i first put the kit on with blue box i made 220. Plus im running hondata s200b
