Question Greddy kit for Prelude question

I just read in Sport Compact mag that the greddy kit for the prelude requires changing the battery to a smaller one (civic). Is this true or are they smoking something?

I don't think you have to get a smaller one but you will have to relocate the battery. I've got a 5th gen prelude and was in the process of getting a greddy kit but got screwed over. Anyway as far as i know you do have to relocate it. I was planning on getting an Optima and sticking it somewhere else (trunk maybe).

I got the greddy kit and yess you have to either get the CIVIC battery or relocate the battery to the trunk.

What kind of gains have you seen with the Greddy and what kind of intercooler did you end up getting? Are you happy with the Greddy kit? I'm just curious 'cause I have a '98 Lude and will be getting the Greddy soon. How about your emissions (that's the biggest thing I'm worried about)?

Night and Day difference! It is very fast considering it is only set to 7psi. I got a custom large front mount intercooler (24"L x 12"H x 2.75"W). I love the Greddy kit. I installed everything myself with no problems what so ever. I posted a thread in the Turbo section if you want more details. I don't know if it is carb legal. I live in Canada and we don't have any emission laws.

I am getting it dynoed soon and I will take pics sometime this week and will post.
