greddy turbo

will i be able to pass smog if i add the greddy turbo ? with blow off valve+intercooler ... on my type R

and what kinda gain would i get ? .. anyone who ever had or heard how a greddy turbo runs is it loud will i be able to lisen to the turbo spool ? ..

Where you at? GReddy is supposed to be smog legal as a kit on stock boost level. Now, keep in mind that this is for the kit only. Since the BOV is not included in the kit, you may fail your visual inspection.... depends if you have an asshole inspector. Technically, a BOV can only be legal if it is rerouted back to the turbo like on stock Eclipse turbo set-up. You may even get away from it if you put a filter on the opening, but filters will slow down the purge as the compressed air exits. To emphasize more on it being smog/street legal, this does not include any other additional mods added to the car, such as legality of you exhaust system. Everything counts. Goodluck to you....
