I finally finished getting my car to look pretty good and now I am up for a motor swap, I have a '93 Civic and I am pretty sure I want a b18c1.... Money really isn't going to be that much of a problem, I will have about $8000 - $10, 0000 to spend on the motor... I want to get the car running atleast mid-low 12's... From what I've seen you can do this with around 300whp.... What would need to be done to put out these kind of numbers? Thanks..
You can get 300whp out of a stock GSR engine with a decent turbo kit and Hondata tuning.
If I was you though, I'd re-sleeve it bore it 84mm, get a good piston/rod combo and you'll be able to get 330+whp on pump gas and be quite reliable. Not only will you have a decent helping of torque from the added displacement but, you'll also have the ability to run race gas and make ALOT of power. Keeping the motor stock doesn't leave much room for improvement.

"Are you or are you not the black angel of death???"
"Without question."
"Don't agree with me, it just pisses me off more."
Well, it's really up to you...there are a few good sleeve companies out there like Golden Eagle, Darton, AEBS, RS Machine. As far as rods, you can go with Eagle, Crower, Full-Race, Pauter, etc. For pistons I'd say JE, Wiseco, CP, Arias, Ross...whatever, it's up to you.
So if I had this basic setup I could push around 300whp no problem right? But if I had the motor built ot handle it I could turn the boost up and push out like 400whp if I wanted to am I correct?
Say Im running 300 - 330whp would there be any point in getting Crower Cams for Turbo applications? I could just jack up the boost to get more power, would they just give me a better power band?
