gsr to type r emanage..
i bought a greddy kit from a person that had it on his 99 gsr to put on my 96 jdm type r motor. My question is will that blue box work on my motor? or is the gsr and type r motor that different from eachother? I know that you guys dont like the blue box, its not even as good as emanage, but i need something to get it from my house to the tuner shop. I plan on going with hondata or emanage ultimate as soon as the turbo goes on, but i wont beable to tune them at my house at all. i also plan on getting a wideband o2 also, and thats why i wanted emange ultimate because i believe that it can tune to a setting with a wideband. My car is a 96 civic, so i would perfer to stay obd2 because of emissions (we dont have a sniffer test, but scan the obd2 port). The tuners around here are just about to get hondata certified, but they dont have a dyno nor a lot of experience. I would have to drive about an hr to reach an shop that has some experience, and then a lot longer for a tuner thats really good. I would like to go to the best tuner that i can get to, so i need to know what all of you turbo guys think i should do and go with?
