Unhappy Help really needed (revhard stage 2)

Hi,

Just started my car after installing the kit and the check engine light cane straight on (it is OBD1 so i cant find out the code without taking it to honda). I think it might be somting to do with the check valves! I am going to buy a missing link but it will take about 3 weeks to come from the USA to the UK. Please could someone give me some advice about making the checkvalves, I have already got 4 check valves bleading off the air so i dont know what is wrong!

Also i think that this may be the most inportant thing, When i reved the car up from inside the engine bay as the revs were comming back down i think i heard what sounded like a knock, do you think that this is detination??? I have all the standard parts that come with the revhard kit, E.g. vortec FMU, fuel pump etc.

I havent taken the car out for a run yet , i have only just reved it up in the garage. When i let off the throttle the air intake makes like a chirping sound (it is not the blow off valve, i have taken it off to check), is this normal.

Do you think that the car will be alright to run with all the standard parts that come with the revhard stage 2 kit. I have booked the car in for a dayno tune but this will not be untill a week saturday!!

Please could someone reply to this asap as i am desparate and after spending well over $5000 justy on the turbo kit i am a bit gutted!! (The reason it cost so much for me is coz of all the shiping to the UK+ customs charges Etc.!!

Thanks very much

Cheers
Steve

P.s. I have a Civic Hatchback with a B16a2 Engine (if that helps) Any more you want to know just ask!!

Are your check valves installed similar to the picture below?

Was it a loud knock that you heard?

Hi thans for replying so quick, The pic didnt work. I though the knock was loud but none of my friends heard it ( im not going mad honest!!)

The check valves are so that if pressure is comming from the TB it will blead out and when a vacuum is comming from the TB it will meet the MAP sensor!

Hope this helps a bit

Cheers Steve

I have had my kit for bout' a month now, just had to replace a gasket ( between manifold and piping to wastegate) that's it! I am running 7psi and have the colder NGK's (Bcpr7es-11) w/ a good install and parts it came w/ safe under 9psi I would say'

Good luck!
