cant really help you a lot, but i can bump your post back up to the top ^

dont worry about your car being an automatic, im stuck with one also and im leaning towards a turbo. at least you know you can turbo your car and have a billion people to ask when you have questions.

as far as auto from what ive heard having turbo in an auto is pretty nice.

i dont know if you will need a torque converter but im sure some nice person will know. if you have the dx you have 130 hp stock and a medium size boost will give you around 60-70 hp maybe

just guesstimation

sorry i couldnt help out much

I have the same motor and am considering a turbo. Iceman is the only kit I've found for our car. I think it runs 8/9 lbs of boost and gives 40% power gain. The relatively low compression of this engine should make the kit detonation free. Good luck.

i say go for 6lbs just to be safe. get all the necessary fuel and ignition equipments as you will need them. having a manual is not that bad. it's sure better when you beat someone with an auto than manual. be different from the world.

I have a 97 Accord that I want to turbo and I was debating about whether I should buy one or custom build one. Which parts did you get from www.turbo-performance? where did you get the other parts? How much boost are you planning to run?

check out www.levelten.com to beef up that tranny. its better to be on the safe side and beef it up now, than replace it later. i dont think your f22 AT will hold up too long.

the t3/t4 is a pretty damn big turbo, especially for less then 10 psi. i would say go with a smaller turbo and less turbo lag. like i said earlier, u could get a 14b from sum1 with a DSM for pretty cheap and thats a very decent turbo. It will hold atleast 13psi in your car plus spool quicker and be cheaper then a t3/t4. I dont kno too much about ur engine but i'd def recomend an EGT gauge and A/F controller as part of the procedure.
