first ill list my setup
dohc zc
safc hack (450cc injectors)
stock fuel pump, all other fuel components are stock
the car had been sitting for 5-6 months over the winter time
after i brought it out i changed the oil, changed the plugs to new nkg stock plugs (i didnt gap the new plugs, i just tossed them in) and new cap and rotor.
currently running 8psi, last year it was 10psi+
second gear is good till redline but third gear once i get anywhere over 4500rpm i get a hesitation, and its constant right to redline.
it almost feels like when you have a quarter tank of gas and when you floor it the pump is fighting to get gas because its all to the back of the tank. only when this happens its a full tank.
i can't figure it out so give me some ideas as to what to look at first
my fuel filter was replaced last year around this time.
try getting a better or new fuel pump. It could be that the stock fuel pump cannot keep up w/ the dsm injectors in that kind of a heavy load situation...

Obviously you knew that this wasn't a good idea otherwise you wouldn't have mentioned it.Try gapping your plugs rite, and fixxing anything else you did half assed. Oh and get it tuned, any sugestions that people give you are only guesses, because it can be anything thats wrong esp on a UN-tuned car. Hestation can be caused by to much fuel, not enough spark, weak spark, bad ground, etc etc etc anything.

the tuning plays a role, bt im confident thats not the problem. the settings that are used were used last season and they did not pose a problem.
but ill gap the plugs (its just that i didn't have a gapper when i was doing them) and hopefully that will take care of most of the problems
i think my timing may be off a bit too.
