Hondata Question to FMU

Everyone is confusing me about hondata and fmu. The question I have is if you have the hondata, do you need a fmu/fcu to dump more fuel? People say you don't need the blue box (fcu) if you have hondata.

No you don't need a fmu/fcu if you have a programable computer like hondata. You have full control over spark, ignition, and fuel curve with a programable system, any adjustments can be made with the computer..........fmu/fcu is just a way to get more fuel....while under boost.
The fmu raises fuel pressure relevent to boost to get more fuel. With hondata you can change the injector pulsewidth once boost starts to get more fuel Also with a stock ecu the biggest injectors that you can run are 310cc (unless you have a piggyback fuel computer) with the hondata you can run really any size that you need (i.e 550cc,etc)..

exactly, the fmu is the lower price version of fuel management . if you have a hondata or vafc hack you dont need the fmu
