how good are these cheap exhaust turbo manifolds? - Honda Forum / Acura Forum

i was curious how good these manifolds would be...a few sites say that these are low boost manifolds...i've seen a least a few sites with these for sale...

i'm planning on running 10lbs of boost on a B18B ls...

looks like i could even make one myself for like $80...

do you guys think $80 would be worth it? I know the phrase "you get what you pay for" but the main question is, will this do the job??????

I would not trust a turbo mani for 200 bucks... just my .02

if your on a budget it might not be too bad, its not far off from a maxrev, but its hard to see the4 welds and what not .
ive sene worse though.

i'm just wondering if the design will disrupt and restrict the flow of the exhaust gas...

cus seriously, i've seen a few places with this same design, looks like i could buy a header flange from ebay for $30, a T3 flange for $25, and some mandrel exhaust pipes for $25 and have them weld it on for like another $20...

anyone else with any opinions at all?????

like i said its the same deisgn essentually asd my max rev manifold.
on a budget, i dont see a prob, my max rev looks like it coulda been made for about $75, but it works great so i wont complain
if you cant do it yorself, you pay for their labor, advertisiing , etc etc etc.
its the way of the free world.

Doesnt look that bad at all. You should see mine, its horrible but works great. I just worry about buying from people I dont know. You have to worry if it will fit or not, etc.
