Well it was going to happen sooner or later so it's no big deal and my car isn't a supercar or anything. Last night while driving around looking for blue headlight victims I saw an older Mustang fast back (Possibly a Mach 1 but not sure). When i got closer I noticed it was super clean and sounded great. I was driving on a parkway near where I stay in San Jose. I proceeded to get things started by tossing a rev at him. He did it back and then we drove next to each other for a few yards then I gave one more quick rev and dropped it in second at first I pulled on him probably he was still shifting. He was about 1/2 -1 car behind from the start of the race. A quick pshh from my blow off valve and I was in third. The tires broke traction a bit? WTF I thought but it was cold outside. He was now creeping by me very slowly and I was getting worried. I look down see 7000rpm and put it into 4th he is now still passing me still slowly though. I see there is a car ahead of me but not him about 500 yards or so away so I get out of the throttle and shoot in behind him and I'm back on it right away. He now has lots of car lengths and my little VTEC is screaming under boost in 4th. BTW 4th goes to 125 with my tranny too bad that's all the speedo reads to. We maintain the same distance till he lets off at a sped that is faster then 125 which I have no idea what it was since my speedo stops at 125. So we are coasting down to the 45mph speed limit and I am trying to get his attention to talk to him but he won't and isn't rolling down his window. What an asshole no "hey good run" or even "hey your car is slow" I just wanted to know what he had or if he's been to the track so I could guess as to what time I could turn in the 1320. What a dick! Why can't he be cool like most other people that I race and talk to fuck now I'll never know till I go to the track. And yes I am an asshole for racing at those speeds on public streets and the road was empty except for that one car and a slow ass S10 that I smoked just before I saw the Mustang. This was at about 2:00am on my way home from work. I wish I knew how fast it was........maybe next time. Do you think he was scared to talk to me or just a jerk?

Yeah your not only an idiot but your slow, I'd smoke you so would most people on this furom, Listen I street raced quite alot when I first got my turbo since coming very close to having 2 accidents which would totalled my car and perhaps me, I have stopped yes they were on straight roads (highways) people don't expect you to be travelling as fast as you are when your racing they just pull out in front of you!! Save it for the track if you have any intelligence.

Like I said there was no one around but the one car and it new what we were doing since what else are 2 cars doing late at night driving next to each other and making all kinds of engine noise. At least the sleeping guy up three above just said my post was boring instead of I don't race anymore and blaming me for something that I didn't do.
BTW I have had 5-6 speeding tickets and a couple speed contest tickets over like 5 or so years and that's just for starters I'm sure as I am a huge asshole according to you and I race next to preschools during school hours and drift in parking lots full of elderly people getting groceries. Don't be a crying ass baby and say you don't race and your the safest driver in the world now cause you almost crashed your car. I was just letting people know what's up and what transpired one night with my car as people look on this board for lots of reasons some of which maybe so they can reda my boring posts. Maybe they know me and they want to know what happened.
You even call me out by saying I'm slow but then you digress by saying you don't race. What kind of fucked up mentality is that anyways are you bipolar or something? I said when I first got my turbo I used to street race a lot buddy??? Like most people here I have a heap more power then you, your setup is about the most basic setup there is....
I was stating my thoughts to help you out, someone who has been there and done that, call it self righteous if you like, your life just hope you don't hurt someone else. Trust me on this that car that was in the other lane could of easily pulled into yours, a lot people are not that aware... bang your dead hope it was worth it.

How does turbo work, I know I'm a newbie, but I'm so in love with my stock (lol) civic, that I want to put all my money into it and learn everything I can about imports....
So, how does turbo work, what is a turbo anyway? I know it adds excessive hp etc. but what does it do to make so much more power? Tell me all you know about it, anyone, even if it's so small you don't think it's worth hearing.....

Yes I did do poorly in English class, but guess what most of my errors are because I can't type worth shit. Or I forget what I was saying cause I can't type fast enough to keep up with what I'm thinking. Real funny now if I was going to be a dick I would look at every post or comment you've written on this board and pick them apart. Thanks bro. And like I said earlier whoever says I don't race anymore and then says I would smoke you anyways is a fucking retard. That doesn't make any sense. Shit there was a time when I said I wasn't going to ever run on the street again and I knew I was lying to myself even when I didn't for months. If it's in your blood it's in your blood and you will have to suffer the consequences just don't cry when something bad happens as a result of your actions. Peace!
