looking for a intercooler for a custom turbo setup? everyone says to get a starion one? wut other cars can i get a front mount intercooler from? going junk yard shopping soon

yeah a starion will do ya right if you're gonna be boosting less than 7 psi. you may have to mod it a bit to get it to fit/mount right.

you should redo the endtanks on the starion intercooler since they just dont flow enough... that will help you boost more with it...

More importantly, what turbocharger will you be using? : Boost is all relative, and so far means nothing until we know what unit you will use, what motor you have, the flow characteristics of the unit itself, etc...etc...etc...Only then can you figure out which intercooler you can effectively use.

Rev Hard offers an intercooler that is closely matched to your specifications. It is 24x8x3.5" I believe, and is intended for use on D-series motor with your standard T3.
