JG engine dynamics

I happened to stumble upon their website. What do you guys think about their work? Their short blocks looks nice. They're askin' for a pretty hefty price though. Somethin' like close to 3g's for the short block w/ exchange. Comes with ductile iron sleeves, rods, pistons, new bearings, blueprinted and balanced, and can be built to handle up to 25, if not I think more pounds of boost. Is this price worth it? Had anyone ever had a bad experience with JG?

I spoke to the people at JG before (a while back). I too asked about their short block "up-grade" and before I could finish telling them what I was trying to do with the engine (turbo, how much boost, racer or daily driver), the tech was already quoting a price, terms, and the whole sales pitch. Needless to say, I wasn't very impressed and took my business elsewhere.

I must admit, I've read all of the mag articles of the pro drag Honda's useing their short blocks and was very impressed. When it came to be my turn to ask about investing $3000 (lots of cash to me!), they dropped the ball in trying to figure out what was best for my specific application.

JG Engine Dynamics is fucking great! I got amy D16 intake manifold and throttle body ported a while ago (when i still had the d16) and I was very very very happy with it. My friend is also running a completely built JG Engine Dynamics motor in his Race CRX. He doesn't have the CRX finished yet, but the motor is done and looks very very nice. I have heard nothing but good things about JG so I would suggest them to you.

Damn, I'm glad someone has had a good experience with them. I guess I might have called "at the wrong time".

He said something bout them fuckin' up his nsx's engine and the guy told him some bs. i think he called and the guy (javier g or whateva his name is) said he doesn't see a problem for himself because u (fastnsx) is in Texas and i'm in Cali. He said he doesn'tsee no problem until he sees a lawsuit in Cali......im just writing what i read, so don't bad mouth me for it.
