K24a4, finally turbo'd with pics!! Turbo back exhaust?
It's finally finished! '03 Accord putting down 235whp at .4bar, adjustable to .7bar to make 270whp! I see full boost ~3100rpm.
I'm currently running a 3 inch downpipe that converges into a Greddy SP2 cat-back. My tuner says the Greddy is still fairly restrictive for my engine, and that I'm likely to pick up ~15whp with a full 3 inch turbo-back exhaust. I realize the turbo quiets down the exhaust a good bit, but I don't want to be excessively loud. That said, I'm thinking of going with 3 inch Mandrel bent stainless into a HKS Hi-Power muffler. Let me know what you think.

I'll try to get some videos up soon. They'll probably be on youtube and I'll just post the links.
Any thoughts on the exhaust system?

nice but that's an odd place for a turbo seems like the exhaust gasses have to go pretty far to get to it

Thanks everyone. I can't take full credit. Dan at Racing Technologies Co. was a tremendous help. I was piecing together my own kit before I found his. The only diff was the FMU, and he could tune it in shop. I would highly recommend RTC for any build/fab/tune in a 150mi radius of Lexington, KY.
Thanks again for the comments.
Mocha907: this is a K-series motor, meaning the exhaust side is at the back of the engine bay. I don't have any doubt in my mind that my turbo manifold is the most efficient I can buy. The fabricator is Dale from RTC. He was on the teams that built all custom cars for The Big Three. Reference here:
Racing Technology Co -
Before I get questions, the only reason I don't make 300whp is because I have a more restrictive exhaust, and my compressor housing is .60, rather that the advertised .80. I wanted to spool up quicker, so I opted for the smaller housing. If I ever build my internals (haha, or switch to AWD [I already get stupid amounts of torque steer]) I will consider the bigger housing.
Thanks again for all your support.

No worries, everyone's allowed a dumbass-attack every now and then.
Any thoughts on the turbo-back exhaust? I have an HKS Hi-Power muffler and I want to mate it to some mandrel bent 3" stainless. Would I be better off making my own flanges or buying some?

depends on what you have available to you if you have everything you need to fabricate them and it's cheaper that's the rout i would take

Manufacturing all of this is gonna be cheap as a case of beer and some pizza. My cousin and a few other friends have all the means to build just about anything.
BTW, after this gets fabbed up I'll have my Greddy SP2 lying around. It's been modified to bolt up to a 3" flange. I doubt it'll be worth much to anyone, so I think I can let it go for ~$250.

If you have someone capable of mandrel-bending an exhaust for you that will be as straight or straighter than the exhaust you're already running than that's definitely your best bet. As great as aftermarket exhausts are, a lot of the price is paying for the R&D, manufacturing, advertising costs, etc. as well as the name on the pipe.

if you have a cat on it. a 3 inch ebay exhaust won't be loud at all. especially with resonator. you'll be fine.
