Kit Question

I have just ordered the Drag Gen3 kit for my B18C1. I have a few questuons though. The kit has a ball bearing turbo upgrade for 450.00. Is it worth that just to have a ball bearing turbo?

Second question is wheather or not 310 injectors will be enough for my fuel requirments? I alredy have them because of a previous all motor setup I was thinking about at first. I have a walbro fuel pump too.

And last question is should I upgrade the spring on the deltagate(same as wastegate I guess?) It comes with a 5-7psi spring. Does that mean I can only boost up to 7psi with that spring. And if so, who makes a bigger spring for wastegates, in the case that Drag doesn't provide an upgrade.

My setup is as follows

B18C1 in del sol
JE 9:1 Pstons
Crower Rods
Block Guard
PMS System for EM
Guages, turbo timer, and boost controller
MSD 6A (also from my previous all motor setup)

Most people say it isn't worth the extra money for the ball bearing, althought, I dont know first hand. It will spool 6-800 rpms earilier than a standard sleeve bearing.

310cc's are enough for 7-10 lbs. But over that and you should get larger injectors. Check out the RC engineering site. They have a tech section with a table to figure out injector flow requirements for a given hp.

That means without your boost controller hooked up it will boost 7lbs. With your boost controller you can boost to whatever your turbo will boost too.

I'm jealous...I want a Del. Dude !! You got a Del !! (god I hate that commercal.

lol... I hate that commercial too. So what you are saying is that even with a 5-7psi spring, with a boost controller I can boost up to 10psi?
