LIST OF THINGS ABOUT SMOGGING LEGALLY

For those of you that do not know I have a Greddy turbo on a Crx (d16z6 engine) and have ran into problems with the Crx.

I am compiling a list of sites that I need help in, because I know i am not the only Turbocharged car here in SOCAL.

this is a government website for CARB standards and in it is a comprehensive list of aftermarket parts that comply and tested:

http://www.arb.ca.gov/msprog/aftermk...rmktdevice.php

If any of you guys know where I can buy a Greddy Turbo kit Carb Sticker, please do not hesitate to contact me or respond. Thanks!

I will find more info in the coming weeks.

Supposedly if you have a Greddy kit such as mine you can have it pass smog with the following

5 psi boost
carb sticker ( which I need)
no intercooler kit(<--can someone confirm this? I heard it from other forums but not sure.)

I also found out that if you do not have a CARB Sticker (like me) for the Greddy kit you can just go to any authorized dealer and have them look at it and give you a CARB Sticker number.

Last but not least here are the PDFs for the d series motor turbo kits:

http://s28.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=2...W2MKAWU1RJIH6E

it says there that as long as I have it at the stock unmodded boost of 5 psi

and all the equipment ( intercooler kit not mentioned) then I will be fine with smog emissions.

that means hide or take out the boost controllers and anything else that will change or alter that 5 lbs of boost.
