i've always liked JE pistons. you can either get the 8:5 pistons or the 10:5 with some thicker head gasket to lower the CR a tad bit. but if you instist on running LOW compression..the 8:5 JE would do it. you can also get JE to customize the piston for you.

You're better off running 6 psi, saving about 2,000 and then shipping your block off to golden eagle to get them to deck, hone, minor port and polish, get pisons, rings, rods etc and have it all blue printed.

That is much more reliable than a head ache of having to pull your block apart to replace the rods after the pistons, then replace the rings cuz the fitment isn't totally correct etc

If you are set on just pistons, for with the 9.0:1 make sure you get a good set of piston rings for it too.

hope i helped need any help for anything PM me

blueprinting is maching the motor to the exact specifications in the blueprints. All car companies use the process of high speed machining in order to produce massive numbers of engines at a reasonable cost. The consequences are that the deck high might be different than the original manufacturer blue print. By cranking down the specs to the exact specs in the blue print will lead in better efficiency means more power.
