96si turbo ls is an unknown quantity at this point
tech wrench ls/vtec boost

i have a 92ls block with a 96 gsr head can i run 10-13 psi boost with out sleeving the block i intend to use nippon pistons ,not sure bout rods yet ,block guard, hondata s300, is 260-290 hp possible

Your motor stock can handle about 300whp or so, if you add rods and pistons then you can run about 450whp or so before the sleeves become an issue.

ls/vtec boost

so 350-370hp on stock block is good whats your thoughts on nippon pistons any ideas bout rods i also heard ls/vtec and boost is not a good mixx is that true

Ls/vtec if done right is great for boost.
Never heard of nippon pistons so Ihave not oppinion on them
Eagle rods are good for the price.

i had them pistons, but sold them

nippon pistons will only fit on stock rods.... so forget about forged pistons.... the nippon pistons are just coated pr4/ls pistons....

yeah nippons are gone going with SRP pistons and eagle rods
