Do they stay in your engine bay or what? dumb question, yes i know, but you have to learn somehow.

most of the time they stay in the engine bay, because of the fact that you would have to have hella long vacuum lines to extend into the cockpit and also because most of them require tools to adjust them anyway, so why not just stop and pop your hood and adjust it instead of mucking with tools in the car.


but just for the long vacuum line problem i would say just leave it in the engine bay, because you might give up some lag for mounting it in the cockpit

make sense?

MUCH more clear now :)

Cleared it up... thanks...

But IF i wanted to run it to my cockpit i could? i would just have to use a tool and get some lag? how much lag we talking bout? 500rpm? 750? 2000?

im not sure exactly how much lag, i can't say that ive tried it.

but the lag i meant was not for how long it takes for the turbo to start boosting, rather i meant that the wastegate might be lagged and might open late or close late, which can be dangerous.
but like i said, ive never tried it, and if you wanna try it i would say go for it and lemme know how it works.
