My buddy found his Turbonetics T3/T4 Super 60 kit for $1600 on ebay. It came with a great and proven Turbonetics Turbo, all the piping, intercooler, BOV, Wastegate, and Log Manifold. He had to add on buying a fuel pump, new injectors, and the tuning paraphernalia.
That said, these cheaper kits only come with the one option of the mass produced huge ass 60 Trim T3/T4 turbos. They make crazy top end power (260whp at 8psi on his D16Y8), but it has so much lag, that my 180whp B18B beat him through 3 gears from a dig...given his D16 can't rev like your B16 can, so he only had like 2000rpm of good power to work with. So it's up to you. His car felt insanely fast, and even was scarier than a Twin Turbo Corvette I was in....but in a race, and around town, it just doesn't have ANY power at all.
You'll need to pony up the dough to get a nice smaller Garret turbo. That or find a used T3 somewhere.
