which is more car friendly?

Is a TC more friendly to the other parts of the car than the SC? I mean w/ regards to the engine(B16a), tranny(gsr), exhaust. I know I'm gonna get a biased answer b/c I'm asking int he Turbo Charger Forum, but I figured I'd try. For street driving w/ the occasional race which would be more reasonable?
