Thumbs down MORE Engine probs! -Coolant in downpipe...

Symptoms- What should I look for? I was thinking about a blown head gasket? What would cause this. My engine is running shitty and according to my autometer POS, its runnig lean. Motor shakes violantly hard whenever i touch the throttle when idling. Engine "stumbling" every 30 seconds or so during idle... Some serious probs w/ my integra. I think im gonna get it towed to impo performance, but before i do that- what do you think could be the prob?

Bown head gasket could defenatily be it, you could have melted a piston or even cracked a sleeve if you are any good with cars take the head off and see whats wronge if its just the gasket replace it and get the head resurfaced. Take you your oil plugs and see if their is oil on them, if their is your blew your head gasket, sorry and good luck, i hope i helped.

First off, do not run the engine.
Second, it sounds like a head gasket. Open your Rad and see if there is oil in the coolant and coolant in the oil. That is a tell tale sign that there is a breach in head gasket seal or cylinder wall. Jipo, I mean impo will dry run your ass. Take a to a honda specailty shop in your area. Is the motor built ?? Who built it ?

Wink THanks Guys!

Im led to believe its the head gasket, cause now that i think about it- all signs point to it. White smoke out of the exhaust, small amounts of smoke in engine bay (when i finally got it started last night!) Fouled plugs- oil residue, also they were black- running rich. I then dumped out my coolant and put fresh (bright orange) coolant in. After letting my car idle- i found the resevoir tank was a brown color- must be oil. Also, that's when i saw the bright orange coolant in my downpipe- I put it together and it clicked. Or i could have a cracked cylnder wall (i sere hope not) Or maybe need new rings?? Motor is not yet built just the basic turbo add on's.. Walboro pump eetc. I do all my own installs but im getting a quaiffe LSD put in. I had my car towed to impo today, its only like a 1/2 hour away from me. They are putting in the LSD --(i aint fu*kin' with my tranny!) and they are gonna do some tests. Probobly gonna get a Nuformz head gasket put in, they can handle like 100psi or some crazy amount like that.. Also, im getting a CM stage 3- my stock is shot to shit. But their are some other problems with my teg besides just the gasket and clutch. Impo is gonna do some tests like i said before, to see why its so hesitant to starting, the contant shaking (motor mounts) and all the rest. The owner of the shop, Saveo Leonie, who is the driver of their car, is coming back from Cali from some IDRC awards, on Wedsday. So thats when they will be begining on my car.
