MSD with turbo ???

sup all!!! i want to install MSD!! i only have the blaster coil right now........anyone know what else i need??????? i heard people with turbo can't use the 6aL because the rev limiter will not work, is that true??? what do i need to have everything running???? thanks

IntegraTypeRice is on a distinguished road
you need the ignition. If you want to boost 8 or under psi, you can use the msd 6al. It creates hot multiple sparks to ensure complete combustion of the air/fuel mixture. It also comes with a soft touch rev control which allows you to set an rpm limit to protect the engine from over rev damage caused by misshifts. For higher boost levels, you can use the msd btm which lets you retard the timing based on the amount of boost. You can retard up to 15 degrees with a retard of 1-3 pounds per boost. There is also an adjustable rev control unit to protect the engine from over rev.

I use the msd 6al on my turbo gsr.

ay thanks man!! i have another question....do i need the spark plugs wires? blaster coil? distributor cap?

you don't need the spark plug wires unless you haven't changed your ignition wires for 50,000 miles.

For the ignition, you need the

MSD Ignition, Blaster Coil, coil wire, HEI dust cover and coil bracket.
