uh oh, ANOTHER build thread! Ls/vtec-turbo
hey guys, some of you may be familiart with my NA build i did about a year ago, maybe not but.....damn CTR pulley destroyed my oil pump and its time to move to bigger and better things.....soooo ive decided F.i. will be the way i go this time
setup is going to be.....
**motor**
81.5 ls/vtec
bc4 cams
skunk2 valvetrain
skunk2 intake mani
JE 10:1 pistons
eagles
arp main and headstuds
ati superdamper
vented crankcase system(t1 style)
**turbo**
Garrett T3 60-1, .63 a/r
turbo elements manifold
3 inch oped downpipe
stealthmode lines
im still trying to decide on what size charge piping to run either 2.5 or 3"
tial 38mm wastegate
**traction and such**
94 gsr trans
4.7 FD
oem itr lsd
bfg drag radials because this is definatley going to a street car
anyway on to the pics cause i know thats what everyone wants...
what the setup used to look like
ill hve alot more pics once i get the turbo and the motor back from the machine shop......then the fab work begins  progress wont be very fast for a few weeks but bear with me.....overall whp guess....350-420...the car made 193 all motor before...let me know what u guys think!

i dont know if ill gain anything with the cams, but alot of people are making good power with all motor cams on boosted setups...if not its not really that hard to change out the cams!! just got make taxes back so its on like donkey kong, prob will have the turbo by the end of next week

Similar setup. 350-420hp easily done with 15-18 pounds on your setup. Id see those numbers if I had some CTR/ITR anything other than my stock b16 cams....

Looks good. compression is kinda high? no? unless its better to have higher compression for ls/vtec turbos? kinda stopped reading honda boards years ago since I got into DSMs, so don't mind my honda turbo noobieness lol. I guess as long you have a good tuner it'll be fine.
you should be fine with a 2.5 charge pipe with your power goals, especially if your on the stock throttle body too. good luck!
