Welder HELP PLEASE!

Im planning to get a welder, im a NOOB at welding so i was wondering if this welder is any good. Im planning to make like charge pipes, intercooler pipings, and exhaust, anyone know if this welding is good or bad and will it get the job done. thank you

If your doing stainless steel you better off TIG-ing it. It better then i mig. If you mig the pipes you can't flow the filler wire to stop a leak. But Tig me and my friends at school have do exhaust and it alot mor better then mig. So Go with the Tig welder

insaneREX is an unknown quantity at this point
that welder will be fine, if you ever want to do stainless, just switch over to a spool of stainless wire.

But you would have alot of air holes because the mig don't flow a puddle. If you going with the mig Good luck

The input is a 230V. DO you have that outlet in your garage. I guess you can use the dryer outlet. For those jobs, it should be fine. Although I wouldnt get a 230v input version. THat just limits the portability of the unit. I have been using the Lincoln wire feed 110V input. No problems with intercooler piping and exhaust piping.....
