Mods: Jdm B18B ls. testpipe, full 3"exhaust, 3in chamber intake. accel high output coil, ngk plugs, Light wieght flywheel B&M short throw shifter, skunk2 lower springs an struts,energy suspension bushings, crossdrilled rotors, 16" aluminum rims

what would you do with $3k?

well i want other opinions on what to do.. i have 3k saved up. and i have a 94civic coupe with a B18B with 30k miles. i have a few bolt ons but mainly stock i also picked up a garrett t3/t4 for cheap.. but all i have is the turbocharger.. now i have 3k to turbo it.. what would u do.?

I would give it to this guy in middleburg florida so he could finish his build.



I would buy all the parts needed to turbo the engine then take the 2g's thats left and build the engine

Do more research on forced induction! Read the book Maximum Boost by Corky Bell

After that finish buying the parts you need for a custom turbo kit, get everything on and get it tuned for 280whp or so.

For 3k, I would shot for more than 280.

Drop 2,000 in the motor ( pistons thicker head gasket and so on) then, put the other 1,000 on the side for future speeding tickets =P

build up the motor first. turbo cams, sleeved block, rods, pistons, etc. when u get into boost it gets addictive and u just want more. i would build the block and head first and then go wit the custom turbo kit. when u boost to get 280whp ur just gonna want more. i started around that level and now im around 450whp, trust me ull want more
