SSAUTOCHROME does NOT include any PVC piping in there kit, the intercooler kit is not there on the hot side or from the turbo compressor housing to the intercooler. this is someone trying to make them look bad again.
Also that picture of the broken turbo has been floating around the internet forever, and this issue has been fixed and food for thought yes the ssautochrome manifolds have been know to crack but they will work with you on this issue, they are trying to provide a manifold for 200 bucks who less does this, and hell i have seen a 1000 full race manifold crack you there nuts.
SSAUTOCHROME stuff works, we have trap 131mph on 24.5 slicks, on there turbo kit down to the turbo on a 1.8l ls/vtec on pump gas, we also have a d-series turbo coupe that runs 13.0 @ 113 on true street tires not bfg or nittos i am talking true pep boy street tires on a full ssautochrome kit. the coupe will go 12s with a good driver side motor mount.
welp that all i have to say, also please don't hate on a producted you have never tryed, don't go by want everyone says

well I bought an intake manifold from ssautochrome. holds with 5psi but as soon as the hot shit hit it the chrome turned yellow then patchy, like I sanded it in certain areas and not others. Now it looks like shit, but it works, so since I am more concerned with performance I'm not too disappointed and I only paid $65 for it . to each his own.
see the intake manifold is working for you, i mean the finish may not be that great but shit a intake manifold for 65 bucks come on now, where else can you get a deal like that
thats great b/c my opinion or supposed opinion is not one
its a fact plan and simple
I have seen their products first hand. I have held them, I have seen them break in front of me.
They are junk.
Seriously a tin can feels sturdier then their manifolds.
The turbos are crap. They are desiel truck turbos half the time whith HUGE back housings
The wastegates stick
Their BOV's I am sure are junk too.
Dont know about the IC's. I am curious on that.
Thats great you went 130mph on an SSAC kit. But it wasnt an off the shelf kit I am sure you did some modifications to it.
I can post links too from Supraforums where some QA nerds bought the manifold to do some material content and strenght and durability testing on them and such. To really tell about the welds and metals.
Its a bit over my head, but good reading.
I can dig that up if people want it.

Well I saw this post from the ssautochrome feeback page.
I wanted to make something similar.
I bought a semi kit from ssautochrome.
Manifold, intercooler, piping, downpipe, external wastegate, etc.
First the spring was supposed to be a 7 psi spring, it came with a 14 psi spring. Good chance I noticed, I'm putting this on my stock engine
The kit was missing some collar and silicone hoses.
I removed my old manifold and began test fiting. Nothing fits. And when I say nothing, I mean nothing!
You obviously can't keep the AC with their kit. I was installing it to an integra and the turbo goes exactly where the radiator is supposed to be. I had to buy a SiR radiator to fit the kit. The piping doesn't fit at all.
The wastegate was bolting right into the Civic radiator. I had to get my friend to cut the wastegate port on the manifold and make it fit in the engine bay.
The downpipe doesn't fit behind the oil pan, it had to me modified.
Nothing would fit on the piping so my friend (who fortunatly knows how to weld) made me custom piping from A to Z.
The exhaust flange on the downpipe is not compatible with a honda exhaust, so it had to be cut and fitted.
The downpipe By the way, blocks the internal turbo wastegate housing so that's why I had to use and external wastegate.
Now once installed, we started the car up, in 10 seconds whe manifold changed color and will most likely become really ugly.
The turbo works well and spools fast, the intercooler seems to work fine but since I don't have any fuel management yet I'm not driving the car...
It finally works, but if you think this kit is bolt on, think again....
You clearly see the wastegate rubbing in the Civic LX radiator. I was upgrading the rad for a double core, so no chance it could ever fit... and I havn't installed the fan yet!
Notice the A/C tubing right next to the manifold....
Here's after my friend fixed the manifold, and removed the A/C (on the right)
The modified downpipe....
The intercooler and the only piping that worked...
Note: I had to cut a part of the bumper in order to fit back on the car...
The ssmanifolds is tig welded so it's not that bad. Actually, the welding quality impressed me. That's pretty much the only thing that impressed me.
The stainless of the manifold seems to be pretty thin too. Well it's thicker than a DC sport headder imitation sold on Ebay, but it's about the same thickness (if not a bit thinner) than a real DC sport headder. For a turbo application, I'm a bit worried. The flange are really thick tough, that's at least one thing I can rely on.
Mods: APC rear window sticker, short ram intake, weight reduction (no hubcaps or hula dancer on dash)
whether or not this kit was actually sold by the company ssautochrome is a question. but this thread should be appropriately(sp?) titled.
THIS IS WHY YOU DONT BUY SSAUTPCHROME KITS
and yes i even noted pete's misspelling =P
if any of you remember me, you know how long i have been running my turbo kit on my car. i use an ssautochrome manifold and have read/been told all the horror stories about them. mine is holding up perfectly fine.

But I'm pretty sure your not running an external wastegate on your manifold or it wouldn't fit on your car. I think that's the main point of this thread. Of all the things I bought from them, nothing at all fitted as it was supposed to.
It's far from being bolt on.
The manifold (without an external wastegate) will never fit on an Integra with the stock rad (you have to put a Civic rad that is half the size).
And the manidold with an external wastegate will never fit on any car that has a radiator in the stock location without being modified...
It's pretty much the same for all their parts...
Their kit works, but I guess you have to be really lucky for the kit to be "Bolt on" on your specific model. I'm pretty sure their manifold on a D serie Civic with no air conditioning would work with the internal wastegate. But it sure doesn't fit all the advertises models without heavy modifications (welding and cuting required)
After installing this kit we now have a saying: "Bolt on, you have to make your damn bolt!"
