Wouldn't it be better to purchase a 32" "Computer Monitor" than a 32" LCD HD TV, since the monitor supports higher resolution rates and faster frame rate?

I have a 50' LG plasma in my bedroom. Plasma is great. The thing about it is, no one knows how long its going to last... lol.
They're also a bitch to transport. You're not supposed to lay them on their side when moving them.
If you're using it to play games, you should go with an LCD. They say with plasma, if you pause the game, it can burn an image into the screen. I havnt had any problems. I have noticed a little when I first turn off the tv, but when its back on, it goes away. The picture drowns it out completely.
Def. go with a 1080p. Im in the market for another one too.

I have HDMI, and thats all ive ever had, so I cant advise. If you Google it, im sure you can find lots of forums on the topic.
Also, keep in mind that you're not going to get a 1080p picture by just watching regular tv, even with an HD box. Broadcast companies can only put out 720p. You're only going to get 1080p picture when watching an HD DVD, or playing a game. Im sure that will change soon though.
