damn cable box!
anyone have experience with the Scientific Atlantic Explorer 8300HDC?
its been working fine for the past 2 months... but lately the problem ive been having... is that its not switching back to 480i from 1080i when i go from an HD channel to a normal channel... so i end up with black bars on either side of the picture... instead of full screen...
what i do to fix it is go back and forth between HD channels and standard channels untill it switches back to 480i... its very annoying and frustrating
this is the 3rd box weve been through... the first 2 the Hdd went bad...
i want to see if anyone has any thing to say before i call the cable company again...
