no sound from subwoofer

i have a jvc home theater system model th-m45 and the subwoofer decided to stop working properly. the system is about 4 yrs old. the only thing it does is just power on without anything coming from it. i unplugged the power cord then plugged it back in and did the same with the wire to and from the main system. that didn't work.

any ideas to make it work?

look inside the box and see it the wires on the inside is connected to the sub.

i meant to say it's a round connector not a wire.

make sure on the main unit the subwoofer is on, rad the manual, thats why they made these thing it should have some trouble shooting methods
