Statement from Universal: Blu-Ray Incoming
http://www.homemediamagazine.com/new...ticle_id=12118
Quote:
"While Universal values the close partnership we have shared with Toshiba, it is time to turn our focus to releasing new and catalog titles on Blu-ray," said Craig Kornblau, president of Universal Studios Home Entertainment.
"The path for widespread adoption of the next-generation platform has finally become clear. Universal will continue its aggressive efforts to broaden awareness for high-def’s unparalleled offerings in interactivity and connectivity, at an increasingly affordable price. The emergence of a single, high-definition format is cause for consumers, as well as the entire entertainment industry, to celebrate."

Can't wait, there are a few select movies I want to pick up from Universal, specifically, American Gangster.

Have you had a chance to see Jumper yet? I still need to see that and I'm looking forward to Semi-Pro, lol. Have you seen the Budweiser commercial?
"Bud Light, suck one."

Jumper was okay, but it was more like...half a movie. It just ended without any real closer for me, but just on premise and special effects, it was cool, and if it's a $20 release at any time on Blu-Ray, I'll pick it up.
The movie collection I'm really looking for from Universal are Suan of the Dead and Hot Fuzz. GOD I want those movies so bad. Oh, and Children of Men. That movie is full of win.

Oh dude I couldn't agree more, what's up with all the movies lately not having any closure? Have you seen No Country for Old Men? Yeah, it's one of those movies too. I would still recommend it though.
Shaun of the Dead was pretty funny, but I LOVED Hot Fuzz. That movie is the shit. I haven't seen Children of Men though... did you by chance pick up 3:10 to Yuma?

3:10 to Yuma is the definition of an excellent film.
I have yet to see Children of Men.

Theoretically no opinion can be wrong... an opinion is just speculation, a personal view/belief, or attitude towards something.
It's not really possible for an opinion to be 'wrong.'

if you have absolutely nothing to do, and there's no other movie that you'd like to see, then maybe watch that movie...before watching it, lower your expectation and erase your mind and think you'll be staring at a blank wall the whole time...that shoul | |
