Toshiba Regza 42" lcd 1080p 3 hdmi's and all that jazz...got it at circuit city for $1199....couldnt resist...hooking it up in like 2 days when i get my stand...got monster hdmi cable for the cable box and the 360...cant wait....

Yeah, take the monster cable back. There is a guy on ebay named knukonceptz that sells quality cable. I've bought several different cables from him (rca splitters, hdmi, component), and I've been impressed by all of it.

I just got a samsung flat panel a couple months ago, and the sound is alot better than the Sony flat panel that crapped out on me. Is olevia a good brand tho?
^ Olevia is one of the higher volume sellers of flat panel TV's. They're not exactly a cheap-o brand, or at least that's not how they portray themselves. I think Target and a few other large retailers carry their products.
I got this samsung 40inch 1080P LCD for $1199 @ bestbuy after I twisted thier arm to price match AND give me 12 months no interest. muahahah the manager was so pissed. I spent hours scouring the web and stores but it paid off.
im actually lookin for a hdtv right now but i can't find a good deal on one. I'm lookin for like maybe a 26" or something around there. I see a few okay brands selling it for about 500 or so.

look at bj's or sams club...they usually have good prices....and prices usually drop right after the superbowl....lots of returns....can get a great deal on an open box item that was used to watch one game
