I just want to point out that , there are specific paints meant for calipers. Look for caliper paint. You might not get pretty colors but it should last longer.
I painted mine with duplicolor caliper paint. The can says it has ceramic in with the paint not sure about the temp rating but the paint lasted over a year before I did it again. I repainted the calipers cause I repainted the car. I porbably could have just cleaned them up but I wanted that fresh look. Then I added a honda sticker I got off ebay. It was a brush on but if you take your time it looks sweet enough through the rims.

Here are a couple pics.

The anodized looks grate though. If you took some time and sanded and polished the calipers first you could have some amazing calipers for Elbow grease and pocket change. Great find.

My painted brakes

A big thanks to the creator for talking to me SO long ago. I did finally paint my calipers blue like him, that was last year, the paint can be cleaned and look like new. I ended up taking the calipers off, taping them, and removing all the clips and springs cause I'm a perfectionist like that. I changed brakes and again painted them blue with this anodize-it. Here are the results!

I don't like the shim being this bright, I'm gonna pull the outer shim off and paint it a satin or flat black.

Sorry to bring back an old thread but I was wondering what kind (if any) of primer was used before painting?

Thanks
